The first sign encountered a the top of the park was this list of park rules.

The second sign found on the first steps into the park was this plaque. It described the life of Ina Donna Coolbrith, after whom the park was named.

A concrete path wound its way down the park, surrounded by plants and dramatic views.

A metal bench rested at the end of one of the paths. This bench not only provided a place to rest, but also a place to sit and enjoy the view of Alcatraz.

The winding path provided a gently way to descend through the park.

Stairs were also available for the more athletic of visitors. Safety rails bordered the stairs, with plants and flowers bordering the rails.

The steps down ended at a drain. This prevented the stairs from becoming a waterfall in the rain.

The stairs up were flanked by two concrete benches. Those benches provided a place to rest while climbing up the stairs.

Mature sucluents bordered one section of the winding path down or up through the park.

Many purple flowers bloomed alongside the winding path.

A dramatic palm tree grew on the side of the hill with a hi-rise behind it.

Bright yellow tulip-like flowers grew from a tree overhead.
